Meet the Team

Our core team combines practical restoration experience with a shared focus on careful work and straightforward communication.

The People You Will Work With

Daniel Mercer

Owner and Restoration Lead

Daniel grew up around Decatur and started the company after years of hands-on property cleanup work in central Illinois. He is especially interested in tracing smoke movement through a building and finding the less-obvious materials that keep producing odor. Away from work, he spends weekends working on old woodworking tools in his garage and taking his Labrador, Scout, on walks near Lake Decatur.

Alicia Bennett

Project Coordinator

Alicia grew up in Macon County and keeps restoration projects organized from the first customer conversation through the later cleanup stages. She has a particular knack for turning technical job details into simple explanations customers can actually use. Outside work, she enjoys vegetable gardening and is known around the team for bringing in more tomatoes than anyone can finish each summer.

Marcus Reed

Restoration Technician

Marcus handles detailed surface cleaning, material evaluation, and odor-focused work in homes and commercial properties throughout the service area. He pays close attention to trim, cabinets, closets, and other places where fine residue is easy to overlook. He lives in the Decatur area and spends much of his free time fishing and rebuilding older bicycles.

How We Work Together

We start by listening to what happened and identifying the rooms, materials, and odors causing the most concern. From there, Daniel and Marcus review the property conditions while Alicia keeps the scope, customer questions, and next steps organized. The team favors clear priorities over complicated explanations: identify the contamination, clean what can be restored, address odor sources, and decide what needs additional treatment.

We also try to be realistic about materials. Not everything exposed to smoke has to be thrown away, but not everything can be restored economically either. Customers receive a practical explanation of the options so they can make informed decisions about cleaning, sealing, repair, or replacement.
